A real-time logistics platform that gave a Colombian distribution company full visibility over its supply chain for the first time.
Our client, a mid-sized distribution company operating across three Colombian cities, was coordinating shipments via WhatsApp groups and spreadsheets. Deliveries were delayed, stock discrepancies were frequent, and management had no real-time view of what was in transit. AstraWorks delivered a purpose-built supply chain platform that connected warehouse staff, drivers, dispatch coordinators, and management in a single system.
The client's operations spanned three cities with 40+ vehicles and multiple warehouses. Existing logistics SaaS tools were either priced for enterprise clients or built for North American/European infrastructure. The client needed something that reflected how their business actually operated — including local address formats, regional carriers, and Spanish-language interfaces.
We built a web and mobile platform with four distinct interfaces: a warehouse module for receiving and dispatch, a driver mobile app for route navigation and delivery confirmation (with digital signature capture), a coordinator dashboard for real-time fleet and shipment monitoring, and a management reporting suite. All interfaces are in Spanish. Live location tracking uses a lightweight GPS reporting mechanism compatible with the team's existing Android devices.
// outcome
On-time delivery rate improved from 71% to 89% within two months of launch. Stock discrepancy incidents dropped by 62%. The management team for the first time had a live dashboard showing every vehicle, shipment status, and warehouse inventory simultaneously — replacing a daily phone call that had previously taken 45 minutes each morning.
We'd like to hear about it. No pitch — just a conversation about what you're building.
